It was my first time abroad and first time on plane.I was more than excited.
Our parents and teachers told us to be confident and we did. Actually when we landed on Barcelona and traveled from place to place in order to get on a bus I wasn’t feeling like I was abroad..I was feeling as if I was home..
Our families were very good and sincere to us from the beginning. They took us from the bus-stop and I felt as if they were my own family.I had been afraid of dark and I couldn’t sleep alone. My friend Maria never left me alone. She shared her room and everything with me.
Food was delicious and they were very sensitive about my nutrition..just like my family in Turkey.I visited a cathedral for the first time in Zaragoza. We had wonderful time in the evening. It has been a wonderful experience and the days with my friends in Spain will always remain in my memories.

It was my first time out of my home town.First day I felt a little weird but I soon got used to it.My friend-Mendoza- was a funny and enjoyable boy.And he was a good-hearted boy.Boys from Poland :Mateo and Miguel were very good boys.Mateo liked to play chess just like me.We also played the lord of the rings.Friendship was cute in Spain. We enjoyed ourselves. My family was very interested. The teacher s in Spain were very tolerant and there was much freedom.I liked Spain indeed.I hope to join new projects at high school to go through such nice experiences again.

The teacher always said ”traveling is learning”.I thing we both learn and have fun by traveling.I had a very good and tender family in Spain. They accompanied me to new places. They always kissed me good night before sleeping.Conchita has been one of my best friends ever.I’m looking forward to her and other friends here to Turkey
I loved the parks in Spain,so full of green and natural. The Roman Museum was very interesting and unforgettable.I never forget Sezar Augusto. The Roman Museum was well equipped. We almost lived in the history. Now I study very hard in order to go to Spain again.

I just would like to add a few words on the diaries of our students. At the beginning I was a little worried about our students who were out of home town for the first time. However when we saw our children arm-in-arm walking cheerfully and smiling with Spanish and Poles students we said it is done. We have reached our goal. They were very happy and motivated.
Their wonderful experience in Spain triggered other students as well to study more and attend the activities more often.I’d like to thank all our partners for being together in this project |
